Hi there! I’m Orlando,  the creative director of Adventure in Hender Castle, a 3D action-adventure game where you use magical spells to explore an ancient castle, solve puzzles, and face the evil forces that have taken over your ancestral home.

The demo is now available on Itch.io, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment or fill out the feedback form. This game is inspired by the classic Zelda dungeons, with a touch of Castlevania and Metroidvania, where you need specific abilities to unlock new paths and continue exploring.

Our main focus is:

• Exploration and platforming.
• Battles against enemies and bosses.
• Puzzles that challenge you to understand your surroundings.
• A growing collection of magical spells.
• An intriguing story about reclaiming your family’s honor.

We’ve done some internal playtests, and here’s what we’ve learned so far:

• The visual style is appealing, and we believe you’ll like it.
• The controls are smooth, making movement and exploration enjoyable.
• The core gameplay of exploration, spells, and puzzles is solid, but combat needs improvement.
• We’re still looking for something that sets us apart from being a Zelda clone.

While there’s still a long way to go, I believe the game has the potential to become something special for fans of adventure and exploration with skills based puzzle solving. If you’re a fan of the genre, I’d love to hear what you think about our game.
